Breda University of Applied Sciences (BUas) is a medium-sized, government-funded higher education institute. More than 7,000 Dutch and international students from some 100 countries are studying at our institute. We offer bachelor’s and master’s programme at professional and academic level in the domains of Games, Media, Hotel, Facility, Logistics, Built Environment, Tourism and Leisure & Events.

The video game development bachelor's and master's degrees are global leaders, have won numerous awards, and rank in the top 20 as rated by Princeton and Autodesk.

BUas is represented at BIG Festival by Prof. Mata Haggis-Burridge, an award winning game designer, consultant, and writer with 20 years of experience in AAA and indie games development.
