Impetus, Co. is a digital game localization studio based in Tokyo that works mostly in English-to-Japanese and Japanese-to-multiple language game translation. Impetus is led by a trio of veteran EtoJ game translators and localizers, and actively networks with, community builds among and mentors current and next-generation game translators and prospects within and beyond Japan. If you are wondering which localization studios and publishers to collaborate with for Japanese-language releases or business trips to Japan, we invite you to pick our minds. We are also making a push to reach out to, support and collaborate with an emerging community of Japanese-to-Brazilian Portuguese and Japanese-to-Latin American Spanish game translators, and would love to hear from peers in the region, at any stage in their careers.
