playSTEM academy is an entertainment STEM hub for kids to unleash their curiosity. In 2021, we're incubated by SPcine Game Incubator (São Paulo), and we also joined the Samsung Pre-Acceleration Program. In 2022 we joined the second stage at Samsung, made a few presentations at RioInnovationWeek/PixelShow/GamesCom, and we won our second public notice from the City Hall of São Paulo (VAITEC Games). In 2023, we also made presentations at WebSummit Rio and Expo Favela, by invitation.

We are honored to have as our cosmic consultants:
- Rosaly Lopes: Chief Research Scientist of Space and Earth Science division at JPL / NASA.
- Jefferson Tsuchiya: Educator and Tech-Evangelist at Department of Education at Sao Paulo Government State.

Milky Shaky LAB - Mobile Version

Milky Shaky LAB is a telescope simulator and also a location-based game prototype. We use Astronomy to improve curiosity on kids.
Through mobile devices, users will be able to explore their surroundings to look for Celestial Bodies. Within every find, they will collect a unique sticker, which could be pasted in a thematic album. However, to do so, they need to pass-trough a quiz about that sticker. To play the mini-games, users have also to find them, as they're linked to the non-stop moving Celestial Bodies.
