Luis Sampaio graduated with honor in 2016 as a game designer from Vancouver Film School. After graduation, he returned to Brazil and opened Mad Mimic, being one of the founding partners and chief of operations. He worked as project manager and game designer in the company's first game, No Heroes Here.
